EXPERIENCE
Mr. Kim, Managing Attorney, joined D’Andre Law at their Orange County office in May 2017 as an associate He has since opened an office in the Inland Empire. His exceptional representation and service is provided through his aggressive handling of claims, detailed analysis and recommendations, and attending to all clients’ needs in claim litigation. Mr. Kim has handled cases and appearances set at every WCAB location in Southern California.
In the beginning of Mr. Kim’s career, he served in workers’ compensation defense as a hearing representative and lien specialist. Following his admission to the State Bar in May 2014, Mr. Kim focused his attention on handling all aspects of workers’ compensation claims. From the initial discovery and medical-legal process to the resolution of claims, Mr. Kim has handled and resolved hundreds of claims.
During law school, Mr. Kim assisted attorneys at legal aid clinics by providing free legal assistance to low-income individuals throughout Washington D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. He also interned at a public policy organization in Washington D.C. that worked to reform and shape employment law on a national level.
Mr. Kim, who is fluent in Korean, sits on the Board of Directors of Beloved International—a non-profit organization he helped found in 2010 to provide domestic adoption for AIDS orphans in Kenya.

Professional Activities:

Mr. Kim has given lectures on a variety of workers’ compensation topics and case law updates, including SB 863, utilization review and Independent Medical Review, resolution of liens, the SJDB voucher, the Panel QME process, death claims, medical treatment, permanent disability, and apportionment.
