Experience
Octavian Dogar was born in Fontana, California. His family later relocated to Portland, Oregon – offering him a childhood surrounded by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
He graduated from Portland State University with a Bachelors degree in Sociology. His education brought him back to Southern California, where he attended Whittier Law School. During law school, Octavian worked as a law clerk/certified law student for the Orange County Office of the Public Defender. He received the Dean’s Merit Scholarship and graduated with his Juris Doctor in 2012.
Upon graduating from law school, he began working for a prominent applicant firm in Southern California. Wishing to start a family, he moved to the Sacramento area and focused upon the defense of workers’ compensation claims. Mr. Dogar has also worked for a prominent applicant firm in the Sacramento area, affording him firsthand experience of all the ins and outs of the workers’ compensation system.
He has appeared at Workers’ Compensation Appeals Boards throughout California, including Santa Ana, Long Beach, Riverside, Fresno, Oakland, Sacramento, San Francisco, Santa Rosa, San Jose, Salinas, and Redding.
Mr. Dogar is an experienced lecturer who has presented for various audiences on numerous topics regarding changes in the law as they occur. He consistently provides high-quality, aggressive litigation of workers’ compensation claims.
When he’s not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, and retreating to the great outdoors to hike, camp, and fish.
