Craig E. Morrison
Senior Associate Attorney, Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law
Mr. Morrison, Senior Attorney, joined D’Andre Law at their Sacramento office in 2017. Mr. Morrison has been practicing workers’ compensation law in California for over a decade and a half and is certified as a Workers’ Compensation Specialist by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization. He specializes in tangled and complex litigation and has conducted nearly 1,000 depositions and more than 100 workers’ compensation trials in Northern California venues.
After graduating from Pepperdine University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies, he went on to get his Masters of Arts in Education with Pepperdine as the Valedictorian of his class in 1991. After teaching and traveling for a few years, Mr. Morrison went to Law School in Sacramento where he graduated with his J.D., and began working as a civil defense attorney. This came after working in insurance defense throughout the late 1990s as a claims adjuster, case manager, and paralegal for five years.
In addition to his studies, Mr. Morrison lived abroad in Germany and Japan each for one year. During his time in Japan, he taught English and computers to children from the ages 2-12 years old.
Mr. Morrison has given lectures on a variety of workers’ compensation topics and case law updates, including SB 899, resolution of complex cases, Alternative Dispute Resolution/ Carve-outs, Serious & Willful and 132(a) claims, utilization review and Independent Medical Review, the Panel QME process, death claims, medical treatment, permanent disability, and apportionment.
